Currently creating animations is a challenging task, as it requires the use of complex and difficult-to-learn tools such as Cinema4D, Blender, 3DsMax and Adobe After Effects. These tools are not well-suited for modern teams, and as a result, motion design and video creation has become the top skill marketers and designers want to learn in order to stay relevant in their field.
As companies strive to create more on-brand content across all of their user-facing channels, such as websites, apps, social media, and videos, the demand for motion design skills is increasing. To meet this need, our mission is to develop the best and most User friendly 3D and 2D video animation tool on the market.
Designers and marketers are the ones who create the brand and it is important that they have the right tools to do so. Our goal is to empower designers and content creators to create the kind of modern animation they love using. We recognize that this shift in the industry is inevitable and we want to be at the forefront of it, leading the way and helping designers navigate this transition.
Motionshift is founded by Lucie Krulichova (6 years of experience in 3D design, 2 years in marketing and 2 year in product design) Barna Bencze (6 years of experience in software, hardware development and 3D design), Mercedesz Hohmann (6 years of experience in software development, 2 years in product design and marketing). We went through the Antler accelerator program in 2022. We have an initial funding, launching soon, and advised by design and video experts.
Our ambition is to become the leading platform for 2D and 3D photo-realistic animated video creation (ambition wise between Canva/Figma for 3D video creation, just ambition wise). Otherwise we are Motionshift and plan to become well for the Motionshift-way of doing things :).
